For Sale: 1981 Volvo MD 17c C/W MONOSHIFT & WALTERS V DRIVE

I am re-powering my boat and would like to sell my existing 1981 engine (volvo md 17c), transmission (volvo mono shift) and V-drive (walters). Engine TT is approx. 10,000 hrs. The power plant is running well with no oil smoke or unusual noises. Engine has had 3 top overhauls (no bottom case work), transmission -1 overhaul and this is the second walters and is a few years old. I am the second owner and have complete powerplant records and lots of spares. The engine will be available end of July 2012 and will be readied for YOUR shipper. Asking $1500.00 OBO AS IS with no warranty

Thanks for the reply. Do you know the age of the V drive and Model number? Approximate running hours? We are in St. Augustine and will be up your way in July/August/Sept time frame. My Walters V drive is 1985 model and rebuilt in 1997. It's getting noisy again after our circumnavigation. Either replace or rebuild is what I am facing. Harry
