I would also like to talk to the owner to find out what they like, don't like, suggested upgrades, etc.
Welcome aboard the CF

Hopefully someone in Miami will chime in to get you on board a Mahe 36.
I can help you with all the info you need.
Just Private message me.

Their is two Mahes for sale in Florida that you can get on if you call the brokers.

Re: Buying a Mahe

My wife and I are looking to buy a used 3 cabin Mahe in the next 6 months. We've seen most of the boats that are listed on yacht world and have not found the right boat yet. If you have one that's not listed yet let me know.

Were in USA, focusing on searches here for now. If we don't make a deal here in the next six months well go international.

Re: Buying a Mahe

Given the way the Aussie dollar is going the competition for US boats will be diminished and you should buy there.

The costs of looking internationally and freight are significant. Don't know about duty and tax for you.

Their is 5 Mahe's in North America currently for sail. A few nice three cabin ones.
What are you looking for that these 5 boats do not have?

This thread's not dead (yet!).

Any Mahe owners in San Diego area willing to show off their great boat to an eager future owner next week? I contacted brokers and none have any boats available. Was disappointed that the Annapolis FP exhibit had everything but the Mahe. Evidently FP does not plan to bring one to Strictly Sail Miami either. Bummer.

I just want to see it up close as its #1 on my list after a long comparison against Legacy 35, and other cats in the 35 to 40' range. Thanks in advance.

Re: Buying a Mahe

RKsailsolo,

Go to the Mahe 36 owners list below and private message and owner near you to see if they will give you a tour of their boat.

That is what we did before buying one. Bring a nice bottle of wine helps also.
