OpenCpn Google Earth Plug-in. Need Help!!

I have OpenCpn 4.0.0 and Google Earth 7.1.5.1557 running on Win 7 64 bit.

For some reason I can not get the Google Earth Plug-In to work with my OpenCpn. When I click on the Google Earth icon in OpenCpn all I get is blank window with a checked box in the lower left of the window and the message connected to chart view port and on lower right a save view button.

Please help.

These new versions of GoogleEarth don't support the API the plug-in needs. Either downgrade or have a look at GE2KAP, as far as I know Paul found some trick to enable it even in the latest GE versions.
