heading up mode

I use my radar on my computer, it only has heading up as the display option.
Since we don't have radar overlay yet it would help if the chart had a heading up option. Seems like a better way to navigate to me even without looking at the radar match up. If I am in a current and the boat is going sideways it would show a completely different direction that the boat is pointed, if you use that reference go up top and try to find some lights you could be rather confused. I can see that using sog for a boat with out a heading compass to integrate would be a simple solution, but I would prefer heading up.
Any thoughts, would this be a difficult option to add?
Regards
Ed

Re: heading up mode

From what I read and see "course up" mode uses COG not Heading that's the problem
