Yes... out of the plotter into the computer right?


So out of the sounder into the plotter... out of the plotter into the computer. You can do all that just by modifying the cable that you have.



If you get the manual for the plotter and post it here I can give you the exact connections but I am not going to guess.



NMEA 0183 has separate transmit and receive wires. It is not a bus therefore you can connect one instrument to the receive of a port and the transmit can go somewhere else.
