base map crash

I am trying to load the high resolution base map; immediately after showing upload complete, it crashes ; for both high resolution and full resolution. When I restart and ignore safe mode, the directory for basemap that I added is gone too.

Please attach your file opencpn.log so we can get an indication of what is going on as well as what OS you're using.
