Parallel connections of up to 3 NMEA listeners is doable and should not cause a significant voltage drop. The only "peril" may be connecting the devices without consideration for polarity, or the possibility of creating a "ground loop" which I mentioned and gave the solution for.

You may want to download a NMEA Monitor to check the sentences received at a particular COM Port. There are several free ones available. I use this one if I am working with chartplotting software that does not have a port monitor embedded in the software: Free NMEA Monitor
