Parts for Autohelm 5000

I am looking for replacement of my control unit for an Autohelm 5000, my Whitby 42 has hydraulic steering. Has anyone installed new Raymarine autopilot parts on an Autohelm 5000 hydraulic pump?

Roland - Yes. Actually - a AH6000. But should be the same. However, the control head and the computer and the fluxgate and the helm position transducer all have to match/mate. But I was successful in getting all those to work with the existing (circa 1980ish) linear type 2 steering ram.

Nice boat the Whitby 42 ... looked at several, but none were around here when I was ready to buy.

Is this AH6000 a Raymarine newer unit or is this an old Autohelm you found on the used market?

It WAS a Raytheon unit that I found on my boat. I've sold both the heads, so nothing to offer except some experience with the issue.
