I set up WPA encryption on my wireless router at home, but living on 11 acres in the woods (and all neighbors having that much or more property) on a dead-end road, I'm not overly concerned about roaming bandits attempting to connect to my
network. I believe that home routers don't broadcast widely enough for my neighbors to connect even if they did have the password and I added them to my MAC address screening.
hellosailor, I checked out the iPig page, and that looks like a nice solution -- and I like the
price too!
I may go ahead and get it now as it could provide some peace of mind in hotels and so forth.
Lots of great info here. Thanks all!
