WH Autopilot

Anybody out there with a WH Autopilot? I have the P-3C with the 1/4 HP motor and the standard fluxgate compass. My problem is that it S curves while motoring. Very frustrating while on the ICW! I've tried adjusting the red screw, but it just makes the S's more abrupt.

I have one but haven't had any problems with S turns. I do have a problem with the motor searching because of small leak somewhere in the system. Have you called Will?

Paul, It sounds like you need to calibrate the unit, then fine tune it. There are a couple of POT adjustments and they need to be done correctly. If you have the manual, it is all covered. We used ours for 10 years without a hiccup. Chuck
