Raymarine Autopilot attitude

Good day .

I am wondering whether there is someone that is able to give me some assistance.

I have an old Raymarine Smartpilot x10 system.

for some reason it has decided to give me attitude. it was working just fine, the I got a calibration needed screen. however it won't allow me to go into the calibration function menu. it beeps and gives me the calibration instruction screen.

I have checked whether there as been any metals placed near the fluxgate, but there isn't.
