NMEA to WIFI adaptors

Hopefully someone will be able to help with this question. I am considering adding an NMEA to WIFI multiplexer like Digital Yacht's WLN30 in order to access my instruments and AIS over WIFI. It seems from reading what I've found on the web, that the WLN 30 has three NMEA 0183 inputs that can be set to either 4800 or 38400. I imagine that this means I can connect instruments and GPS at 4800 and AIS at 38400 baud and then have both accessible on the same WIFI (at the same time). But I just want to be sure, that the 4800 and 38400 inputs can be mixed. Or is it all 4800 or all 38400 into the multiplexer unless you add an additional data combiner?

Any insight?

Re: NMEA to WIFI adaptors

From the manual:

Quote:
By default, the Smart Multiplexer Port 1 is set to 38400 baud, while Port 2 and 3 are set to 4800 baud, but they can all be changed via the WLN30’s built-in web interface
and:

Quote:
Communication Settings
• Set Baud rate to Standard 4800 or High Speed 38400 for each of the three ports
• Set the communication protocol to UDP or TCP
• Set Port 1 NMEA Output to output the Multiplexed data (38400) or Wireless App data (4800)
Looks like you can mix/match.
