KVH V3-HTS install on Lagoon 52

Considering installing a KVH V3 HTS on a Lagoon 52. Does anyone have experiencing with where to mount the satellite dome?

The dealer is recommending the spreader. Is this the best place versus some other place?

If you put it on a spreader you will have several degrees of shadow to contend with. Put it on a pole aft so there is minimal shadow. The mast will look like a tooth-pick in comparison to being on a spreader.
