INAVX email account

I have the INAVX app and recently purchased an updated garmin gpsmap 78sc.

I want to load the routes from INAVX to the handheld. I am told that this is possible and you start buy emailing the routes as an attachment.

When I do this the INAVX says I do not have an email account set up. I do have an account with INAVX and have backed my routes and waypoints to it.

How and where do I set up the email account?

Dave. You need an X-Traverse account. It cost about $10 I think. Will work fine then. Good luck. The link is here: http://www.fugawi.com/web/x-traverse/navionics_faq.htm. Works with my iPad/iPhone.

There are several ways to import waypoints/routes into iNavX..

One of them is via X-Traverse and it should be noted a free trial account can be used. Better yet use the email method linked in the post above.

Funny thing is, is that I do have an account. Just checked and it says it expires in 365 days. Email is correct, file works to upload routes and waypoints to x-traverse. Just can't send as email. Any suggestions?

Just paid another $10 and am registered until 2016. Tried again to email out if INAVX on the iPad and still says I do don't have an email account.

Just noticed, is there something different between a mail account and a email address. The message is saying to set up a mail account???

Got it fixed. The email account had nothing to do with INAVX. It was the mail address on the iPad! Once I set up the account, iCloud, I am now able to email the routes and waypoints. Very simple once you have the solution. No to download The garmin app to load the routes into my GPSmap handheld.
