Fox and Hound wire tracer recommendations

Madehn you are my hero. We can have a beer at the next OCD conference. By the way what labeler and laminator do you have.
Last spring a buddy asked me to help him on his boat. We pulled out over 200 feet of wire. A substantial portion was solid core romex complete with wire nut joins mid run. He is mildly afraid of electricity so everything electrical was done by "professional electricians"
I will probably go with the Sperry and I will certainly do a continuity test before I pull anything out. Fluke makes beautiful instruments but for my hopefully very rare use it seems like overkill. I hope that statement doesn't come back to bite me on the backside.

All of our main runs were in 4” X 4” conduit boxes. They were so packed nothing could be added. I pulled almost 300 feet of abandoned wire of many gauges. I also added Panduit behind the nav station and re-terminated all cables. Forty, Camper & Nicholson furnished the original owner with complete wiring diagrams. They have been kept up and wires are labeled at each end.

Wish there was a way to rotate posted photos! Spin it left 90.
