DS Digital Depth Display

Hello, I hope someone can help.
I was having trouble reading my display. If I shine a light on it I can read it. So I got the idea to take the warped piece of plastic from the inside. Now it shows nothing. If I put the tinted foil back over the display it is readable. Where can I get that film to make it work again? This is a Standard Horizon SD 45. Do I need to post the numbers on the transducer to find out what will work with it if I need to replace the display?

Thanks! The first thing that came to mind was a welding supply shop. I forgot about photography. I'll do some searching in that direction.

I used polarized glasses to check it but it didn't work. Tomorrow I will look for a camera shop. Thanks!
