datas trough Immarsat IsatPhone Pro2011

I`m going to sail a friend`s boat from the Caribbean to Europe.
An Immarsat phone IsatPhone Pro2011 is part of her equipment but no offshore meteo system are installed.

The preface is that I need a quick method for getting reliable meteo informations for that crossing and the request is this method being easy to set up since it is going to be a one-off usage (the boat is going to be sold in Europe).
I thought about getting grib files using the Immarsat directly connected to a pc.

Question:
Anybody has got direct experience (or report somebody else`s) on getting datas from these devices?
