B&G masthead unit 496 , 213

My B&G 496 masthead unit stopped working, probably water ingress. I spent some time trying to repair it most cost effectively. The solution was to replace the circuit board in the unit itself Part No. 213-10-101. This is shared with the 213 masthead unit, which is more commonly advertised/ easier to find. I was skeptical when the new part did not look the same as the old one, but it works perfectly.

I ordered from SailRace.com a company in Spain, $330 shipped to the USA. They're hard to find in stock in the US, and 4,5,$600+ depending on the source. Shipping was fast. I hope this can help someone out at some point, and I'm thinking of ordering a spare now that I know it works, because these will probably get increasingly difficult to find.
