Autohelm st6000 course computer

Hi this is my first post, hope someone can help.

My autohelm st 6000 course computer has apparently finally stopped working. I get the message "no link" on the header and an expensive visit from a marine electrician has confirmed that it needs replacing.


Before I look at the replacement which sound horribly expensive, circa £1500 for a Raymarine. P70 head, seatalk NG to seatalk 1 converter, new equivalent course computer and compass, I wanted to check if anyone could recommend someone that repairs these units, it's a very simple couple of circuit boards? None of the marine electronics companies I've tried are interested.


I live in Cambridge UK, but happy to ship anywhere

look on ebay uk there were quite a few new in the box st6000 coarse computer units being offered ,selling for around £300 in the last few years.
seems like someone got hold of a container full when the company changed hands to raymarine.

I have a AUTOHELM ST 6000 course computer that has stopped working.
It does not react on the control eg if i push auto it remains in stand by .

I understood you have knowledge to repair this device?
