AIS app for IPhone

I saw this on the app store. Supposedly picks up ais signals. Anyone use it?

Just now I was comparing Live Ship with the app. pretty close except Live ships saw targets in Hawaii but the app doesn't. But for 8 bucks wadda you want? You get what you pay for! I was just thinking about for the upcoming trip from Oahu to Morro Bay,Ca.

Seems to work OK here in the Seattle area. I haven't actually confirmed that all AIS ships are represented or that locations are real time. I've got the free version, not sure why I'd want to pay.

The app needs an Internet connection.

The site (Marinetraffic.com) is also run by volunteers and includes this disclaimer
