600W 12v Lantern Type 5-Blade Vertical Axis Wind Turbine

I have a 27 foot sailboat and would like to install a wind generator for charging a house battery. The battery load is a frig, led lighting, radio etc. I don't have a lot of room so I was wondering if one of these lantern wind generators would work. Anyone have any experience with them or comments. Thanks

Are you certain this produces 12v DC? Looking through other ads for the same seller, there are some that appear to be the exact same wind generator and they mention "AC 12V."


And then, does it produce enough voltage to charge a battery? The seller does not seem to provide any detailed specs. If it can't produce pretty close to 14 volts DC then it is going to be useless for charging a 12V battery bank. How many watts does it produce at what wind speeds?


I would not spend my money on a generator like this unless I had a LOT more details on the specifications. Buyer beware.
