Well, we FINALLY did it. We left town!

I’ve been a CF member for many, many years. After 16 years of owning “Merlin”, delayed for 3 years by Hurricane Harvey, we left Port Aransas (Corpus Christi area) Texas 5 weeks ago. We stopped in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, and then to Grand Cayman. We’ve been here 2 weeks, knocking out some projects that popped up, and enjoying a delightful (but expensive) place.

We plan on leaving here in time to be “south” by June 1, in Bocas del Toro, Panama.

Many, many thanks to all of you here that helped nudge us along on our adventures, and for the great advice given over the years.

P.S. This doesn’t suck. Follow us at www.janandbill.com

Congrats! My Mom was Superintendent of Schools in Rockport and I will also be in Bocas 6/1. Maybe we can grab a beverage. Bocas is amazing. Enjoy!

We aren’t covered in Guatemala. And it just doesn’t appeal to us.

We have very close friends in Bocas. That helps too.

Congrats!

If all goes as planned, we're about a year and a half behind you.

I saw merlin the other day in barcadero, I recognized it from Harvest moon race, I was in Kemah for 8 years at Waterford. I'm anchored by starfish point, love to have a beer some time

Congrats, but please do not use the “water” background behind your text. It renders it unreadable.

Happy sailing!

Did we see you anchored out, just outside the marina entrance a week or so ago? Or maybe anchored up near GCYC? I joked on another post about being busy having fun. But really we are deep into some projects, and that’s why we are at Barcedere. We can walk for parts and materials. We are probably leaving mid month for Panama. I’ll pm you our contact info.

For the illegible posts on the background, one intermediate fix would be to change the font colour to white
