New and looking for charter in Belize

Hello, my wife and two kids aged 15,17 are heading to Belize on 3/27-4/04. We are very interested in getting into sailing/motor yachting and thought this would be a great trip to get our feet wet with a charter. We want to set aside some time to do some land adventures so ideally on the front side or back side of the trip for 3-4 days would be ideal. We have a house in Marathon Florida and until this trip, we have primarily focused on fishing a day boat charters, but would love to learn more and possibly get into this as the kids get older.

Anyone have any recommendations or want to charter us. Need skipper for sure.

The advantage to asking a sailing school for day charter or longer is the variety of boats and skippers they generally have available.

There are now 4 charter companies in Belize. Most based in Placencia:

Susail
Dream Yachts

All the above do both bareboat & crewed charters.

Belize Sailing Vacations runs only fully crewed luxury all inclusive charters...and does a damn fine job of it. The are based near Belize City. They also operate the only ASA school in Belize.
