Jefa drive with Edson tiller arm

Does anyone have experience connecting a Jefa Linear Drive with the Edson autopilot tiller arm? The Jefa drive uses a 16mm pin and the Edson arm comes with a 12mm and 1/2" pin. My question is how did you connect the two parts?
