How to Send a Private Message

I am trying to send another member a private message and so far been unsuccessful, please advise.

If you are logged in just click on the username and you should get a menu that allows you to post a private message.

I have been doing this however when I get to the members page I do not see a tab for the private message feature.

If the member is posting in a thread you are reading, one can click on their user name next to their post and select "send private message to ....".

From the members list page, click on the member name, when their profile page loads then select the tab labeled "contact info". There is a link there that says "send private message to..."

To illustrate what Four Winds just posted, I'll attach a screen shot to this post. It will show what a member could do if they wanted to send cburger a PM.

I had not noticed the option in the red rectangle.

That's the easiest option available it seems.

The member may have De-selected PMs.
Try "test" sending one to another member. For instance, I accept PMs.
