Boot Key Harbor Tel Line Damaged

Good Morning , Not sure if this is the right forum for this but I am looking for any other boats that were damaged by the low hanging telephone wire in Boot Key harbor.
There is a discrepancy between At&T about when they were notified by the Coast Guard
Also how the original damage to the wire happened
Also if the danger is fixed or if it is going to take another two weeks.
I am also trying to find someone who is still in the harbor get any pictures of steps At& T has taken to warn people.
THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP. This is Important
TOM

Re: BOOT KEY HARBOR TEL LINE DAMAGE

Hi Ed,
There is a big gap between the time the Coast Guard notified AT & T and when they say they were notified . And for them to have not made any attempt to warn people is amazing. I could have fixed it myself the next day with two good poles .
Can you ask on the #68 cruisers net if anyone knows when AT & T first got there
I am trying to find out how the wire got lowered in the first place
There are two boats that I know of that were damaged ...I am trying to find out if there are any more .

And if you can send any pictures of any developments at the bridge that would really help.
HOw long arae you staying in Marathon ?
Thanks A Lot for your help on this
TOM

Re: Boot Key Harbor Tel Line Damaged

When I reached AT&T last (Friday) after navigating their gauntlet of a voice mail system, they could not find any "trouble report" on the issue. Keep in mind, though, they reference these things by phone number, so it's quite possible there was one, but the agent couldn't find it. I put in a trouble report at that time so that I could track it: #0201471.

Thanks Mike -Stay in touch
According to Coast Guard ATT was notified Monday at 5pm.
They did nothing the next morning to turn boats around at the bridge.
