Not having been there, we can only guess. Bottom-line they thought their lifes were in danger and they were rescued.

Armchair sailors feel free to tells us what offshore sailing is all abput.

Holy crap! Those comments were brutal.

Well, maybe the soon-to-be-ex Mrs. F. can interest someone in a salvage job. Sounds like Skipper will have other concerns going forward.

Experienced may not mean off shore experience. The boat is still afloat, so maybe a bagged sail would've slowed, or stopped the water?.......i2f

Sounds like a good way to make some money towing it in, or at least a boat.
A big percentage of abandoned boats are found still floating month's after they are abandoned.
