Bargains at the Sydney Boat Show?

Sydney Boat Show time again (2-6 Aug). Sadly there's a couple of Ozzie builders no longer represented. There's heaps of production boats, some interesting specialist cruising boats including the Buizan 52 at the top end of the market ($2.2mill) and plenty of capable cats at much cheaper than that. A first in Australia (I think) is a Southerly 57 swing keel yacht which should create some interest. Of course there's a lot of expensive stink boats for those who bring their tweed jacket.

I'm going and want to pick up some real bargains in the smaller items (EPIRBs, PLBs, PFDs, clothing etc). Does anyone know what items are usually offered at significant discounts and what are not ???

I've bought wet weather gear there at significant discounts (20-25%) in previous years, and got 50% off top of the line Musto jacket on last afternoon of show - last one on the rack. Also bought a BBQ once for 1/2 price - last one left and dealer didn't want to pack it up again!
