Is Orca Green Marine still in business?

I have an OGM tri-color light on the mast that appears to have failed.

I have tried:

a) OGM's Annapolis phone number from their website several times and no one picks up,
b) left message and no reply,
c) called the Texas number on the OGM documentation and it was out of service,
d) emailed and no response.

I have spoken to others who have the same story.

Does anyone know if they have gone out of business? With this sort of customer support I suppose it may not matter. I really liked the OGM product until now.

I would be surprised if they are. Mine was guaranteed for 10000 hrs, failed in 50 but a week after 2 yr. warranty expired!

Re: Is Orca Green Marine still in business?

Just replaced the Orca Green Marine Tri-color with the Lunasea equivalent on our 44' sailboat.

After 10 years of great performance, the OGM light suddenly went very dim (about 1/10th prior brightness) and OGM did not respond to requests for assistance with this problem.

The wiring protocol for the Lunasea is the same as for the OGM light so it was "plug and play" with the 3-wire connector on the masthead and the OGM "Master Switch Module" at the electrical panel (i.e. diodes that provide connection to the three panel switches: Tri-color; Anchor; and Strobe). I did have to adapt the mounting bracket by drilling new holes to fit the Lunasea.

The Lunasea unit seems to have similar brightness the OGM tri-color so, so far so good.
