Insurance for a boat registered in the Netherlands by US citizen

Hi,

I am a resident of the US and trying to get insurance coverage for the boat registered in the Netherlands which will be in the Dutch waters for now. The yacht broker and I called multiple insurance sources. We kept getting the same answer that the local insurers would not provide coverage for American or American-owned companies. Does anyone know of smaller local insurance providers who can provide the coverage? We can not move it to a marina as the marina wants proof of insurance.

Any leads in this regard will be greatly appreciated.
