ProAIS2 - error opening serial port

Tried to connect with micro USB cable between Emtrack AIS and macbook air. So what is up with the serial? Serial buses are ancient right?

Does anyone have much experience with this software? Is it a higher success rate with windovs computers?

I have used it several times on Windows without troubles. Make sure no other program has the Serial port open. Only one program can have control of a serial port at any given time.

Same issue here. I am also not able to enter the port name manually. Did you find a solution or do I have to buy a pc?

Update: I borrowed a PC. After that it has worked on both PC and Mac OS....
