MaxSea Easy Mediterranean

Recently I bought MaxSea Easy Mediterranean, vers 12.6.2 with mm2 charts.
Of course I consider to be a newbie on this software, but with a good knowledge of other software. I run the program on XP PRO.
My problem is that I am unable to get on charts the AIS targets. I have correctly (I hope) configured the inputs and I see AIS data when I go to "data input/output settings" + "data display" but no green icon on the charts. The real problem is that I have no TARGET menu or button on the Chart Toolbar, neither I can "add" it. Before purchasing the NASA AIS engine I asked the MaxSea sales if the Easy version was compatible with AIS and I got : "Yes" !
Anyone may help me ?
Thanks

I found out the reason of my problem !
The "target" module is not included in the basic MaxSea Easy package. Therefore the AIS signals are received but not mapped on the chart. To have it done you have to purchase the module (about 25% of totale MaxSea cost) !! MaxSea is a very good software but the cost is definitely high !

Aloha Manlio,
Do you think that the AIS is a necessary function on your navigation program? Is it worth the extra cost?
Kind Regards,

I have the NASA AIS Radar from almost two years. It's the most useful device I ever had to sail long legs in ship traffic areas, even more useful then Furuno radar. Now I was thinking to bring AIS signals also to PC charting, as the NASA stand alone unit is only North oriented and it's not intuitive to see your course, while it's easy on the PC. This extra performance it's really expensive !!!
