Christmas Bay Texas

I have a sail boat. Draws 1.5 feet center board up.

I want to traverse Christmas bay West to east on my way to Offats Bayou from Free port.

The chart shows less than a fathom near the old ICW, no depths with in it, I suppose its not dredged.

Is it possible to traverse with out going aground too often or too hard?

Thanks

Re: Christmas Bay Texas

No saying it’s not possible but no.
I fish out there and get stuck with a shallow sport fishing boat sometimes, that draws 8”
Just stay in the Intracoastal and you will be fine.

Paul

Hell, I have run aground in a kayak in Christmas Bay. No way you can make it across there.

As said, ICW is fine.

But if you do decide to try then post pics.
