Chain locker - Above waterline?
I need to make place for my anchor chain....and why not build a chain locker. Would like to have it above waterline so it can drain.

The windlass is located 10ft from the bow, and the chain locker would be about another foot further aft.

So, I'm thinking of building an anchor locker in my v-berth port side, glassed to the hull. To not interfere with the v-berth I would like it to be narrow in bottom and wide in top. Bottom would be about 1ft above waterline.

Ideas?
