New Tire pressure Monitor

I bought this from someone in Las Angeles off Ebay.

The numbers get set when the pressure monitors are installed, they are screwed on the air stems.

The numbers don't change untill the tire pressure or temperature change.

If the display gets too far away from the sensors and then comes back in range all the numbers go blank, and the user must unscrew and rescrew the sensors to restore functionality.

Hoping this helps eliminate blow outs on the trailer.

Re: New Tire pressure Monitor

I have seen these things on campers and RV's. The caps are clearly visible indicating whether or not the tires are at the correct pressure. The pressures on trailers, campers, RV's, etc are typically quite high, north of 65 psi.
For funsies I googled these and one can get any a wide variety of these set to a wide variety of pressures for only a small investment.
I think I'll get some.

Re: New Tire pressure Monitor

They could be handy on a boat where the hydraulic steering, engine controls and freshwater system accumulator all have Schraeder valves to pressurise them.
