Toe Rail Folding Cleat

Anybody had any experience with these ...Toe Rail Folding Cleat

Good? Bad? Anything better for an aluminum slotted toe rail?

I have no mid-ship cleats and would like something for spring lines.

Re: Toe Rail Folding Cleat

My CS36M does not have midship cleats either. This is what I use. Just splice a line onto the clip and clip it on the toe-rail.

Doodles, we have two of them on our Pretorien, work fine for spring lines.

Thanks Chris. I'm sure you have the same rail as I do. The top of the rail is about 1/2" thick and the middle closer to 1/4", so I was a bit concerned about the fit. Did you add them yourself or did they come with the boat?

Re: Toe Rail Folding Cleat

We added them. They were fairly easy to get on - a little soap helped get the rubber sheet that is used between the toerail and the mount to slide on without much fuss.
