Re: How long will the UV resistance of Sunbrella last?

I got this sail cover 4 years ago in weathermax which actually is a perfect match for my sunbrella navy blue canvas dodger and Bimini. A very good deal on a cradle cover. It’s held up fine.

https://www.leesailcovers.com/mainsail-pack-1/

I had weathermax put on the roller furling headsail when it’s sunbrella leech cover wore out a year later and I like it better for that purpose since it’s lighter so doesn’t weigh down the leech as much.

Downsides- I wouldn’t use weathermax on other canvas as I think it’s too light and could flutter compared to sunbrella.
I also am not sure it’s as breathable as sunbrella. My headsail finally started getting some mild mildew in the laminate (North Norlam) after the weathermax was installed. as the UV cover. But that could also be solely related to age as the sail is 16 years old (recent recut really helped)

Hello from the PNW.
What's this "UV" you speak of?
Up here people put plastic tarps over the Sunbrella to keep it from turning into a sheet of mold.
