Good source for rope
On EBay there is a seller who gets end runs and overruns from a major rope manufacturer. They're apparently not allowed to advertise who it is, but if you go to their Ebay page and you know your ropes, you'll see.

You can get some great deals -- maybe 1/2 price compared to retail. I've bought a lot from them lately and the service is excellent.
