CDX PRO POLYESTER CRUISING LAMINATES

looking at this laminate sail from Precision Sails, does anyone have some on their boats and can give a review? besides rolly tasker and precision, are there any other sailmakers using this laminate?
thanks

You might reach out to Dockhead, think he has CDX sails made about 7 or 8 years ago.

We replaced jib and main with North 3DI. Best sails I’ve ever had. Their process is monolithic casting in epoxy, no seams. Check out their site.

thanks, i have checked them out and i like the process of a molded sail but that price point is a issue with my budget. not being on a boat with 3di sails but as far as making a real wing for a sail i don't think anyone has come close to north.

They should last at least ten years and maintain shape always

Hi Silver Surfer
I'm in the same boat as you are (sorry for the pun). I've just ordered a set of sails in CDX Pro but with Leitch and McBride. This is a smaller loft that actually produces their own product (in Canada or Ohio) and very knowledgeable. And their price was lower than Precision.

I've bought sails from Precision for my last boat and was very happy with them. They do a good job. But I feel better supporting our local economy rather than China's.

Good luck with your search.

Cheers,
Bryan
