Best Stack Pack?

My Hanse 370 came with a stack pack (brand unknown) that I'm about to replace. I would appreciate your experience with specific US "stack pack" brands such as North Sails, Doyle, Mauri, etc. I've already excluded the Mack Pac.
Thanks for your comments.

Why did you exclude the Mack Pack?

Re: Best Stack Pack?

There is only really 1 Stack pak and that is from Doyle.

I had it on my last boat and it worked fine (better than my current Dutchman system).

But I doubt there really is any useful difference between makes other than whether they are/aren't attached to the sail.

Re: Best Stack Pack?

Rodney: I excluded the Mack Pac because it is the only one that I am aware of that is made without battens at the top edge and, as a result, it is attached to the mast. I want to have the option to "drop" the stack pack and roll it up around the battens.

SailorBoy: I have found numerous differences among the various "stack packs" including a. differences in the lazy jacks, b. differences in the type of battens used, c. differences in the thread used, d. differences in the piece used to cover the front of the sail, etc.
