Barlow Australia 25 Self Tiling Winch

Hi Folks,

I'm in the midst of a re-fit on my Hudson Force 50 Ketch and I need to locate a self tailing winch to match the rest of my sailing equipment.

Does anybody have an extra winch that they would be willing to sell? I don't believe they are manufactured any longer although you can still get parts

Might try Arco Hutton in Sydney Australia. They stock parts for Barlows and sometimes take older winches in trade on new ones.

Barlow winches come up regularily on Ebay in Aus and US. You may have to watch for a while before the exact model you want comes up at a reasonable price. As an example. in the last year I have bought two #27 two speed at $100aud each, and a #16 single speed with handle at $50aud, all in good used order, and ready for use.
