Watermaker Problem

I have a one year old Sea Recovery 110V unit.

The other day I changed both of the prefilters and started the unit up after being stored (with chemical) after six weeks. The unit started making quality water (red and both yellow lights turned off and 5 green lights remained on to indicate good quality water) after about 4 minutes. This is how the unit has always performed. Ran the unit for an hour with all pressures and flows normal and made about 45 gallons of water. Ended with a five minute fresh water flush.

Two days later I started the unit and it took about 40 minutes for the red light to go out and another hour for both the yellow lights to go out and get only the five green lights. The unit made water during this time consistent with the amount that was expected. All pressures and flows normal. The water quality seems fine to the taste but I don't have an independent water quality meter to verify. Ended with a five minute fresh water flush.

So, my questions are: why the difference in the lights? Are they correctly indicating the quality of the water or is there a problem with them or a problem somewhere else in the watermaker?

Thanks
