Holding tank capacity gauge

Hi Folks .. looking for some advice regarding waste holding tank gauge. One of the wires on the tank has detached. What’s the best way to reattach it. I have attached 3 pics. 1) front pic of tank showing two wires 2) a close up of the wire on left showing that it is detached 3) the gauge showing tank empty when I know it is not.

Re: Holding tank capacity gauge

I had the same on our boat. One of the wires was no longer in contact with the foilstrip. I contacted Snake River manufacturer and they said I could use any good glue, but I had already ordered the special glue for electrical connections (it is black because it is full of carbon) and it is like new for the last couple of years.
If still don’t know if ordinary glue will work.

Edit: Looking at your pictures I had the wire soldered onto a copper foil and this foil was glued to the aluminium foil. Yours looks different, any solution were there is contact between the wire and the foil should be OK.

Acugage tank level monitors are made by TankEdge.com. You should be able to get some help to reconnect the wire or replace the sender from them https://tankedge.com/techsupport.html
