General Purpose/Refrigeration Fans

Thought I would post this source for fans.
If your refrigeration unit needs a new one, or one of higher air flow, or something to circulate air in the box,, or even for some other use, this is the place I've used, it's my "go-to".

Be warned, you can spend hours on this site and find all sorts of stuff that you absolutely "need".

Re: General Purpose/Refrigeration Fans

Interesting subject. Theses DC fans are 'driven' via an internal tiny micro processor and supplied by an approx 12VDC supply from the MDM regardless of MDM input voltage, not a problem. For those using the MDM fan supply to engage a relay then to supply fan(s) from the systems DC supply, it is a different story. We run twin two speed fans via relay (for condenser optimisation and to avoid fan corruption of the MDM) but testing found that many self destruct if the supply voltage temporarily goes outside their engineered voltage input range. For example one batch we tested fried their processor if the voltage exceeded 14VDC!!!! We eventually found a manufactured who would cooperate and produce a fan that is not subject to this problem.
I mention this so that anyone replacing a fan or fans to be supplied from the systems DC (most likely a 120-120-25 12VDC 3 to 4 watt type) can check that the replacement can handle voltages that can occur on DC refrigeration systems, that is outside 6.00 to 17 VDC without self destroying.

Note: Fans are driven by the MDM must only be the 12VDC type regardless of the voltage the system is.
