Flexible water tank

I have a 100 liter Vetus water tank in my 33' trimaran. Installed per manufacturer specs. I find that the actual useable volume is really only about 3/4 of its true volume. At about 25 liters it starts sucking air and needs to be refilled. Any one else experiencing this?

Re: Flexible water tank

Where is your pickup? I’ve a 40 gallon flex tank from another mfg, but the drain is on the bottom.

Maybe put a dive weight next to the pick up?

The pickup is on the top of the tank. That is where the instructions said to place it. I like your idea of a dive weight. I'll give it a try. Thank you
