Anyone have experience with 'portable' electric coolers?

My boat has a regular rectangular cooler under a cockpit seat. It is the kind you fill with ice. I was thinking of replacing it with one of these, so I don't have to keep filling it with ice, but don't know how well they work, how reliable they are etc. I have about 17 x 19 x 25".

To get to this, everyone on the seat has to get up, then you have to lift the seat up, then open the cooler and reverse this each time someone wants a drink, so I was also thinking of putting this in, and cutting out a hole in the seat for the drawer to slide out.

But if anyone has better ideas, I would love to hear them as well.

Thanks.

We have a portable Whynter dual zone AC/DC cooler from Home Depot that has been running continuously and perfectly for over two years on our boat.

I have a couple of coolers, one is a Coleman and the other is a igloo. They both run of 12v and keep beer, pop and dairy products 40f below ambient. The igloo is the better unit it has a lid with a locking latch.
