Sillette drive leg

Have a Gemini 105, when we drop the leg and fire the engine we get a little bit of oil/fluid slick on the water. No oil in pan, think maybe hydro fluid from leg? Any help?

It could be: 1) drain plug from leg (you would surely see some oil at that location before dropping the leg if it has been sitting for a few hours); 2) Prop seal (not good news...you can test with a bucket of water with the leg up if you dont see oil there); 3) from the exhaust (can test this by firing up the engine first and not putting down the drive leg immediately); 4) from the drive leg fill (should easily see oil there before dropping leg); 5) grease fittings (should only be noticeable just after greasing). There's also the gasket between the parts of the drive leg...You would probably be able to see it. Give it a good inspection from the dinghy or hanging over the transom...I bet you'll find it. Also, be sure to check the level before starting up every time. Hope this helps!
