Tidal Experience Wanted in the UK

Hi there, i am new to the forum.

I have a group of experienced professional skippers which are based in Croatia (around 6) looking at coming to the UK for some training. Most would be capable of RYA Yacht Master but all of them have limited tidal experience so we were looking at organising some training to build on their skills and different traffic hazards and experience before looking at the YM route. Budget is an issue as the guys work through the summer so we are trying to work out a practical option and keep budget tight.

I was thinking one option would be to charter a yacht October or November and hire a RYA Trainer for a week and build on practical experience. Not sure if it is practical to pickup an independent trainer outside of a company? Does anyone have experience with this?

Any other suggestions appreciated! Or anyone have budget friendly companies they can recommend.

Cheers.

Try asking on a UK Forum, you'll get lots of help (and probably find a good instructor) on here...
