Sailing Convention for Women - February 2, 2019 Newport Beach, CA

Hi all!

The annual Sailing Convention for Women held in Newport Beach, CA has posted their list of workshops for 2019. This is a one day event with many workshops taught by women for women. The workshops are primarily for novice to intermediate level sailors. I don't have any association with the organization other than having attended one three years ago (Going up the Mast was especially fun!). I'll probably attend this upcoming one.

From the website: Early Bird Registration 12/10/17 – 12/31/17 is $200/pp. Registration between 1/1/18 – 1/27/18 is $225/pp. Late Registrations (and walk-ins) received after 1/27/18 are $250/pp. Fee includes workshop sessions, breakfast, lunch, dinner, souvenir gift and workshop handouts from the instructor (if applicable).

This is a great opportunity to meet SoCal women sailors and learn a few things. It's particularly helpful for women who boat with their S.O.s, but don't have a lot of experience.
