The little boat that did.

Folks, go take a look at the three photo's I have just posted. You will find them under "funny situations". For want of a better place to put them.
The story behind this little boat is that it's owner motored it all the way from NZ down through the wild southern ocean to Antartica. He didn't land on Antartica itself, but he did get as far as the ice. He then turned and came home again. Nothing much has changed with the little boat from that trip. She now has a new owner whom is a good friend of mine. He bought it from the adventurer and all that changed was the new owner ripped out all the flotaion the fellow had put in. The flotation was large infalatble bags fixed to the inside of the hull. A fire extingusher was fitted to the bags for easy and fast inflation so as the boat woudl remain afloat no matter what happend. That's all that was done.
Everytime I see this little boat, I just shake my head in amazment and wonder at this adventure it under took.

C'mon wheels, there has to be more to the story than that. The adventurer as you call him, didn't just take off on a whim.He must have tons of knowledge and experiance behind him. With all those miles under her keel,it wouldn't be hard to believe she was laid down in Sydney or Brisbane.<GR>.They don't build them like they use to.Great pic's also.Is that a Triton behind the boat,In the red top.Mudnut.

I am trying to get more story. Does he have experiance?? well he just set off into the most dangerouse ocean in the world in that and his only safety device was inflatable bladders blown up by a fire extinguisher. Either the guy is an experianced geniuse and I am a compleate novice (most likely sceanario) or he had no clue(most easily believed scenario).
Triton?? Whats a Triton? the red top was a lady from Holland. I suddenly realised I was takign a photo pointing driectly at her and felt imbarresed. I then made the situation worse by trying to tell her I was taking a photo of the little boat and then realised she could hardly speak english. So the communication just made it worse. I should have just shut up as I think she realised what I was doing in the firt place.
